Who is Kudou Himiko?

Himiko Kudou Himiko is a character from the anime/manga Get Backers. She works as a Transporter, basically a 'gun-for-hire' to make sure cargo gets to where it's suppose to. She is a 'witch' who uses 'poison perfumes' to inflict various attacks on her opponents.

Himiko has a troubled past, which deals partly with Mido Ban, the famed Man with the Evil Eye. Years ago, her older brother, Yamato, was killed and Ban was involved somehow. Himiko decided Ban was her enemy and vowed to get revenge on him. Recently, because Ban and his partner Ginji foiled one of her transport jobs, she's been seeing more of the Jagan Master and begrudginly calls him friend. What lies in her future is still unclear...(really vague description, to avoid spoilers) :P

Why make a fanlisting?

Himiko is just a really great character, one of the most interesting and strongest females of the series. The fact that she can hold her own in battle (with the occasional help from Ban) just shows you that she can kick butt! And her control over the Poison Perfumes is pretty awesome; endless possibilities for formulas. The fact that, according to hints and official info, she is a Voodoo Child or Last Children, also alludes that she will have major importance in the future chapers. C'mon, she's just too cool! ^_^

Why Lady Poison?

Well, I was rather unimaginative at the time, so I just settled for Himiko's Transporter alias, 'Lady Poison'. It pretty much describes her and what she does, but I'm sure I could find a deeper meaning to it...Later... :)
